シジュウカラの巣作り・産卵、抱卵2024 (3)：

前回、リール動画（1分24秒）でご紹介した後、14日（土曜日）に小さな卵を巣の中に確認しました（写真）。抱卵中の親鳥は時々巣箱の外に出てきますが、すぐ、抱卵のために巣に戻ります。

前回、今年の巣作りの様子の一回目として3月22日時点での様子を写真で紹介しました。

その後の様子は添付ビデオ（1分24秒）の通りですが、この間に大量の藻を、最近は羽毛を口にくわえて何回も取り込んで、厚いふかふかベッドが出来ています。

産卵も近いでしょう。

“英文法は会話力を得るための絶対の基礎です。”は「ラジオ英会話」大西講師の4月1日の開講時の最初の言葉です。（添付音声参照）

私も、英語を母国語としない外国人はしっかりした英文法力なしでは信用され、納得いただける良い会話はできない、と信じています。

毎回、この番組終了前に講師から出される数題の口語英作文は瞬時に答える必要があり、頭の体操、目覚め、そして実用に最適です。

いつも通り、今年も講座のテキストは購入使用せず、15分間の講座では目は使わず耳だけで集中し、英文スキット全体を完成し、口を使って楽しみます。スキットを書いたり作ったりすることは、自分の弱点をチェックするのに役立ちます。これが長年の私のやり方です。

"English grammar is the absolute foundation for conversational fluency." are the first words of "Radio English Conversation" instructor Onishi at the beginning of the first program on April 1. (Listen to the attached audio.)

I also believe that non-native English speakers cannot have a good conversation without solid English grammar skills to be trusted and understood.

Every time before the end of the program, the instructor gives us a few spoken English compositions that we have to answer instantly, which can be a great mental exercise, a wake-up call, and a practical tool.

As always, I do not purchase the textbook for the course this year, but concentrate only on the sounds of the lectures by our ears and mouth, not by eyes using hands to write down the whole skits in English within the 15 minute-programs. Writing down or make the skit is useful for checking my weak points. This is my way for many years.

フルートとギターの小グループF2G（エフーツージー、フルート by R. 板原、ギター by 和田、釜本）として演奏を重ねていましたが、フルート担当の女性がオカリナ演奏も上手ということで、この曲は楽器をオカリナに持ち替えて、2013年のひまわり音楽祭で披露しました。

ちなみに、私が住んでいる尾道市の隣町、福山市はバラの町として有名です。

We had been performing as a small group of a flutist and 2 guitarists named F2G Flute by R. Itahara and Guitars by Wada and Kamamoto).

Since the lady in charge of playing the flute was also a good ocarina player, she switched her instrument to ocarina for this song and performed it at the 2013 Himawari Music Festival.

Just for your information, Fukuyama City, a town next to Onomichi City, where I live, is famous for its roses.

先日、1925年に開業し、1964年8月に廃線となった尾道鉄道のテレビ番組をみました。

小学校の友人一人が番組の中で当時の様子を語っており、私も懐かしく思い出しました。

私は1962年4月から廃線までの2年4か月の間、福山の高校に通学するために山陽線の列車への接続交通手段として三美園駅から尾道駅まで毎日利用していました。

この友人が地元の記録冊子に当時の思い出を掲載するので私にも利用者の一人として寄稿してほしいと依頼があり、当時の駅舎、電車、乗降状態、乗客の様子などを800字程度にまとめました。

One of my friends from elementary school talked about those days in the program, and I remembered it fondly.

I used the line every day from Sanbien Station to Onomichi Station as a connecting transportation to the Sanyo Line trains to go to high school in Fukuyama for 2 years and 4 months from April 1962 until the line was closed.

This friend asked me to contribute my memories of those days as one of the users to a local record booklet, and I made a 800-word summary of how station buildings, trains, boarding and alighting, and passengers were at that time.

メジャーリーガーの大谷選手の前通訳、水原氏の問題を見て、海外で日本人が生活し、仕事をする時に現地で生活経験の長い日本人を語学力だけで過度に信用してはいけない、ということを再認識しました。

私も海外ビジネスに関わった会社が東南アジアの現地で生活経験の長い語学力に優れた日本人を責任ある立場に登用して、彼らの数億円の投資が結果的に失敗に終わったことを見ています。

語学力、その流ちょうさとビジネス能力、そして人間性は無関係です。しかし、海外で不安な時にはこのことを忘れがちです。

I have also seen that a company involved in overseas business in Southeast Asia employed a Japanese with excellent language skills who had long experience living locally to a position of responsibility, and their hundreds of millions of yen investments ultimately ended in failure.

Language skills and its fluency have nothing to do with business ability or human qualities. However, it is easy to forget this when one is anxious abroad.

添付写真は1997年01月29日の通産省・省エネルギーセンター主催の省エネバンガード21表彰式で配布された冊子の中の受賞社社名、そして私が開発した「節電虫」の紹介記事です。

The attached photo shows the names of the award-winning companies and the article introducing the "Setsuden-mushi" that I developed, which were in the booklet distributed at the Energy Conservation Vanguard 21 award ceremony sponsored by the Ministry of International Trade and Industry and the Energy Conservation Center on January 29, 1997.

昨年2023年度の記録では巣作りが3月、産卵とヒナ誕生が4月上旬、巣立ちは一ヶ月後の5月初旬でした。

今年も巣作りが始まっており、親鳥が巣の中に入る時間が長くなっており、3月22日時点での巣作りの状態は写真の通りです。

Last year's record for 2023 shows that nest construction was in March, egg laying and chick birth in early April, and departure from the nest a month later in early May.

Nest building has begun again this year, with the parent birds spending more time in the nest, and the state of nest building as of March 22 is shown in the photo.

災害が頻発する日本では停電、断水など、万一に備えた準備が必要です。

停電時に代替供給電力源として発電機を使うか、蓄電池を使うかですが、我が家ではこの度、先ず、太陽光発電＆蓄電可能な小型のポータブル電源（定格電量2KW）を購入しました。

この電源でほとんどの電気製品が使用できるようですが、実際にどんな電気製品がどのくらいの時間使用可能かをテストして確認します。

我が家には通常の受電回路とは別に発電機からの受電回路をすでに設置していますが、発電機はまだ購入していません。

4，5年前の豪雨災害の時は尾道でも断水が続きましたが、我が家ではこの時、水は実家の井戸水で、風呂水は黒色のビニールシートを使って太陽光で温めてしのぎました。

I created my You Tube account (https://www.youtube.com/user/KarlKamamoto) 14 years ago in 2010.

And it was 11 years ago in 2013 that I uploaded this music for the first time as my solo guitar performance, which has now been viewed over 36,000 times. Adding the 27,000 views of the same for karaoke, that number in total reaches 63,000.

In terms of a day, this means that this music video is viewed around 16 times a day by someone somewhere.

For amateurs, I do not think that the number of viewings on YouTube exceeds 10,000 in few cases so that I really appreciate the viewers for it.

As for non-music related content of mine, the interview I got on NHK (https://youtu.be/lhZDeFzE_4M) has been viewed about 8,300 times now.

クラシックギター曲としては非常によく知られた曲、ポピュラークラシック曲の一つです。

ほとんどのプロのギタリストもソロ演奏しています。

私もあしかけ数十年も練習していますが、満足したことは一度もありません。

数年前にピアノとフルートでの伴奏演奏を見つけましたので、協奏練習もしていますが、伴奏に合わせたメロディのソロ演奏には少し違和感があります。

楽譜では表現されていない微妙な音の長さ、間隔、大きさなどが表現しにくいからです。

A few years ago, I found an accompaniment with piano and flute for this music piece and I have been practicing in concert as well, but I feel a little uncomfortable playing the melody solo with the accompaniment.

This is because it is difficult to express the subtle length, spacing, and loudness of notes that are not expressed in the score.

3月上旬だけ、広島県だけを見ても、メディア報道から判断するとセクシャルハラスメントに関しては警察官、自衛隊員、教員が3大供給源のように思えます。全国的には政治家も例外ではありません。

Ethics review boards would be needed not only in the Diet, but also in prefectural police, Self-Defense Forces, and prefectural boards of education throughout Japan.
