パワーアップ、400W ⇒ 600Wひまわり発電所 Power up from 400W to 600W with the Sunflower Power Station

梅雨明け後、晴天が続き、太陽光発電には基本的には好都合ですが、パネル温度が50度℃以上に上昇し、発電効率は低下します。

「ひまわり発電所」（SFPS、自動太陽追尾式の小型高効率太陽光発電・蓄電システム（写真、ベランダ・狭地用、見学・コピー自由）はこれまでは400Wの発電パネルを使用、試験してきましたが、7月から600Wに格上げしました、（と言っても、通常の屋根据え置き型の8分の一のサイズですが）。

600Wパネルの内、400Wパネルは主に昼間のエアコン用に、200Wパネルは電灯、テレビ、パソコンなどの家電製品用に電気を供給します。

発電した電気の内、万が一の夜中の停電用に約300Wを蓄電池に残し、発電した電気は地産地消として毎日、使い切ります。

なお、先日、このシステムをある会社の社長さんにも見学いただき、意見を交わしました。

After the rainy season ends and sunny weather continues, this is generally favorable for solar power generation. However, panel temperatures can rise above 50°C, which decreases power generation efficiency.

The 'Sunflower Power Station' (SFPS), an automated sun-tracking, small-scale, high-efficiency solar power generation and storage system for photo, balcony and narrow space use (free to view and copy), has previously employed 400W panels for testing and actual usage. However, starting in July, we upgraded them to 600W panels, (though it is only one-eighth the size of a regular roof-mounted system), the 400 W panels of which primarily supply electricity for daytime air conditioning, while the 200 W panels provide power for appliances such as lights, televisions and computers.

Approximately 300 W of the generated electricity is stored in the battery for emergency use during night-time power outages just in case and all the remaining electricity is consumed daily as part of a local production-for-local consumption model.

Additionally, recently, the president of a certain company visited me to inspect the system and we exchanged opinions with each other.
