この曲は、1966年に金子詔一氏によって作詞・作曲された日本の楽曲で、翌1967年8月25日、森山良子の歌唱によりヒットして広く知られるようになった。

優しい歌詞と歌いやすいメロディです。

私たちの息子が卒園する時、たまたま私が幼稚園のPTA会長でしたが、この曲が流れたのを覚えています。

現在、私は2021年12月からある高齢者の月例会で、“次回、元気で会いましょう”という意味を共有しながら、会のエンディング曲としてカラオケ音源にギターの伴奏を合わせて毎回演奏しています。

伴奏方法は右手の４指を使ってその時の雰囲気に合わせて、楽譜通り弾く、ワルツや、他のリズムで弾くことも可能です。もちろん、アルペジオで弾くことも可能でしょう。また、人差し指をピックのように上下させて弾くこともできるでしょう。

来年2024年からは「すばらしい明日」（作詞；塚田 茂、作曲；宮川 泰、歌；ダークダックス）という楽曲も閉会の歌に加えて、ギター伴奏したいと思っています。
