全国通訳案内士のミーティング：

先日、英検1級（&同等）資格者ネットワーク in 日本というグループ内に、全国通訳案内士のサブグループが作られ、一回目のミーティングが行われました。

私には通訳案内士の資格はありませんが、設立を提案した人間として、出席依頼を受け、参加し、大いに参考になりました。

簡単な自己紹介の後、東京と愛知県の全国通訳案内士が、それぞれのこれまでの仕事の仕方、工夫、現状などを述べ、質疑応答が行われました。

私自身はこれまでに業務上で主に産業通訳案内を、その業務の延長線上で観光通訳案内をしています。

National Licensed Interpreter-Guide Meeting:

The other day, a subgroup for National Licensed Interpreter-Guides was formed within the “Eiken Grade 1 (& Equivalent) Qualification Holders Network in Japan,” and its first meeting was held.

Although I do not hold the National Licensed Interpreter-Guide qualification myself, as the person who proposed its establishment, I was invited to attend and participated, finding this meeting extremely informative.

After brief self-introductions, National Licensed Interpreter-Guides from Tokyo and Aichi Prefecture spoke about their respective work styles, innovative approaches, and current situations, followed by a question-and-answer session.

I have been working as an industrial interpreter and guide in a professional capacity, and I primarily work as an industrial interpreter-guide, but I also work as a tour guide as an extension of my main job.

Below, I’d like to share the website of my friend who, building upon their National Certified Interpreter-Guide qualification and through various innovative approaches, began receiving direct job requests from tourism agencies in foreign countries. As a result, they are now able to work at their own pace, without relying on assignments or referrals from Japanese agencies, and provide interpretation and guiding services that satisfy their clients.
