同時通訳者　Simultaneous Interpreter

一昨日の4月19日（土）に友人の同時通訳者のKさん（英検1級（&同等）資格者ネットワーク in 日本のメンバーの一人）に尾道で会うことができました。

世界的半導体製造企業M社の広島での国際会議に動員された数十名の同時通訳者のリーダーの一人として横浜から広島入りしました。

本日、月曜日（21日）からの3日間の同時通訳業務の前に尾道を彼女に案内しました。

良い天気の元での尾道案内の間に仕事などの話もたくさんでき、Kさんのエネルギッシュで前向き、勉強熱心な姿に大きな刺激をいただきました。
Kさんには引き続きネットワークの月例会に出席いただき、色々なお話を聞けることを楽しみにしています。

The day before yesterday, April 19 (Saturday), I had the pleasure of meeting my friend Ms. K, a simultaneous interpreter (one of the members of the Eiken Level 1 Network) in Onomichi.

She came to Hiroshima from Yokohama as the leader of dozens of simultaneous interpreters mobilized for the international conference in Hiroshima at M Corporation, a world-class semiconductor manufacturing company.

I took them on a tour of Onomichi before their three-day simultaneous interpreting work, which begins today (Monday) on April 21.

During the tour of Onomichi in the beautiful weather, we talked a lot about work and other topics, and Ms. Kimura's energetic, positive attitude and eagerness to learn more were a great inspiration to me.

We look forward to having Ms. K continue to attend the monthly Eiken Level 1 Network meetings and hearing more stories from her.
