大人げない対応、大人げない態度　Lack of adult responses, lack of mature behavior

土曜日の朝一番に目にしたのは、アメリカ大統領執務室での世紀の口喧嘩だった。

喧嘩は両成敗ですが、より大人の対応が求められるのはアメリカが側です。

1人の訪問者を大勢で取り囲み、言語も自分たちの言語の英語だけでまくしたて、訪問者を威嚇し、窮地に追い込み、最後はつまみ出すのがアメリカ方式なのでしょうか。

これまで、大統領に口答えする人は見たことがありませんが、その点だけでもゼレンスキー大統領の舌応戦は勇気あるものでした。

Is it the American way to surround a visitor with a large group of people, speak only in their own language, English, intimidate the visitor, put him in a corner and finally pinch him out?

I have never seen anyone talk back to the President, and in that respect alone, President Zelensky's tongue-lashing was courageous.
