1956年のイタリアの映画のテーマ曲です。

映画では第二次世界大戦後のイタリアに生きる庶民の喜怒哀楽がクリスマスに50歳の誕生日を迎えたある1人の初老の鉄道機関士の姿とその幼い息子の目を通して描かれ、映画史に残る作品と言われています。

クラシックギターを再開直後の14年前、20008年に地元の演奏会で数百人の前でソロ演奏しました。

This is the theme song from a 1956 Italian film.

The film depicts the joys and sorrows of ordinary people living in post-World War II Italy through the eyes of an elderly railroad engineer who celebrates his 50th birthday on Christmas Day and his young son, and is said to be a work that will go down in film history.

I played this solo in 2008, 14 years ago at the local guitar concert in front of the a few hundred people soon after I restarted the classic guitar.
