有識者会議  An intellectuals group

2020年の東京オリンピックのための新国立競技場建設計画に関与した「有識者会議」は「有害無益」と断定されました。
「有識者会議」は識見のある人たちだけの集まりでしょうが、その呼称はあたかも他の人を馬鹿にしているにも聞こえます。賢人会議という呼称にも同じような印象を私は持っています。
私自身が彼らのような知識や賢さはありませんので、そのひがみ心がそうさせるのでしょう。
The intellectuals group that got involved in the new national stadium construction plan for the coming Olympics in 2020 has been judged to have done more harm than good. 
The group must be consisted of only the knowledgeable people, but its naming sounds as if they befool other ordinary people. I have the same impression toward a wisemen group as well. 
I may be overly sensitive because I am not a man of knowledge or wisdom.
