種の自然消滅は自然の摂理 The natural extinction of species is a law of nature

動物でも、植物でも種が自然に滅びるのはあり得ることです。これは自然の摂理であり、仕方がありません。自然の摂理は受けいれればいいのです。このことは人間にも当てはまります。

人間が人為的に消滅に追いやった種は過去に多くあり、これらは守られるべきでした。

例：ドードー、ステラーカイギュウ、ニホンオオカミ、フクロオオカミ、日本コウノトリなど多数

自然に消滅した種も多くはありませんが、あります。

例：アノマロカリス（約5億年前）、サーベルタイガー（スミロドン）（約1万年前）、恐竜類（約6,600万年前）、ネアンデルタール人（約 4万年前）

日本では今国会で皇室典範の法改正が国会で成立しましたが、朝日新聞の世論調査では一般国民の多く、6割がこの改正は理解できないと答えています。

すなわち、今回の法改正は一部の政治家、メディアでは、短命だった麻生元総理とその一派のようですが、が自己利益のために画策したのもので、国民の理解には全く配慮していません。

彼らは表面的には男系天皇の存続を意図しているようですが、男女同権という時代の考えや種の自然の摂理にも反しています。

まるで独断と偏見が横行した織田信長や豊臣秀吉の戦国時代（1467年の「応仁の乱」から1615年の「大坂夏の陣」）に逆戻りしたようです。

It is possible for species—whether animal or plant—to become extinct naturally. This is the way of nature, and it cannot be helped. We simply need to accept the laws of nature. This applies to human beings as well.

There have been many species in the past that humans have driven to extinction through human activities, and these should have been protected.

Examples: The dodo, Steller’s sea cow, the Japanese wolf, the thylacine, Japanese stork, and many others.

While there aren’t many species that have gone extinct naturally, some do exist.

Examples: Anomalocaris (approx. 500 million years ago), saber-toothed tiger (Smilodon) (approx. 10,000 years ago), dinosaurs (approx. 66 million years ago), and Neanderthals (about 40,000 years ago).

In Japan, an amendment to the Imperial House Law was passed during the current Diet session; however, according to an Asahi Shimbun public opinion poll, a majority of the general public—60 percent—stated that they do not understand this amendment.

In other words, this amendment was schemed by certain politicians and media outlets—specifically, former Prime Minister Aso, who had a short tenure, and his faction—for their own self-interest, with absolutely no regard for the public’s understanding.

On the surface, it appears that they are attempting to maintain male-line succession to the throne, but this runs counter to the modern, widely held view of gender equality and the natural order of the species.

It feels as if we have regressed to the Warring States period (1467 - 1615) of Oda Nobunaga and Toyotomi Hideyoshi, when arbitrariness and prejudice ran rampant.
