昨日に続き、英語力に関する内容の投稿です。

添付した写真は日本（人）の英語運用能力順位（2017年、非英語圏内で上から37位、アジア内では下から5位）です。

10年後の現在2026年もほぼ同じでしょう。

そして、さらに10年後の2036年でも同じか、悪化するでしょう。

日本語ができれば、正しい語学力習得方法で、その習得努力を継続すれば、誰でも必要な実用英語力を獲得できます。

その方法を今秋に出版社と共同出版する「イヤでも身に付く、使える英語力（仮称）」本で紹介します。

Following up on yesterday’s post, here’s another post on English proficiency.

The attached photo shows the ranking of the Japanese people’s English proficiency (2017: 37th from the top among non-English-speaking countries, and 5th from the bottom in Asia).

Ten years later, in 2026, the situation is likely to be almost the same.

And even 10 years from now, in 2036, the situation will likely remain the same or get worse.

The website below features articles reporting on the English proficiency of Japanese teachers, students, and people over the past 20 years or so.

Any Japanese, who have Japanese language skills, can acquire practical English skills as well by using the right language learning methods and persevering in their efforts.

I will introduce these methods in a book titled “Practical English Skills You’ll Pick Up Whether You Like It or Not” (working title), which I will co-publish with a publisher this fall.
