日々成長、目があきました。

孵化後11日目の27日、徐々に小鳥らしい姿に成長し、目があきました。

狭い巣の中では「おしくらまんじゅう」状態で、お互いに上になったり下になったり、もがきながら体力をつけているように見られます。

羽ばたきの練習も始まっています。

添付の動画、写真は今日28日午前8時前の様子です。

おそらく、ゴールデンウィーク連休明けには巣立つでしょう。

それまでは、親鳥の給餌とウンチ処理を邪魔しないように巣箱の近くでの園芸作業は遠慮しています。

Growing Day by Day—Their Eyes Have Opened.

On the 27th, 11 days after hatching, the chicks have gradually taken on the appearance of young birds, and their eyes have opened.

Inside the cramped nest, they’re all piled on top of each other, taking turns being on top or underneath, and seem to be building up their strength as they struggle.

They’ve also started practicing flapping their wings.

They will likely leave the nest after the Golden Week holiday.

Until then, I’m refraining from doing any gardening near the nest box so as not to disturb the parent birds while they feed their chicks and clean up their droppings.
