シジュウカラの子育て2026(5) 、ヒナ誕生 Great Tit Parenting 2026 (5): The Chicks Are Born

ハナミズキが満開の木の上の巣箱の中で4月16日にヒナが元気に誕生しました。

巣作りを始めて約一ヶ月、抱卵開始後約10日後です。

これまでの映像記録を「シジュウカラの子育て2026 パート1、巣作り ～ ヒナ誕生」としてまとめました。

今年で連続4年、5回目の我家の庭での小さな生命の誕生光景ですが、いつも大きな感動を覚えます。

暴君政治家が引き起こした戦争での大量殺人、京都での事件など殺伐とした昨今、身近な小さな小鳥たちの懸命な姿に考えさせられます。

On April 16, the chicks were born healthy and lively in the nest box perched on a dogwood tree in full bloom.

This marks about one month since they began building the nest and approximately 10 days after they started incubating the eggs.

This marks the fifth time in four (4) consecutive years that we have witnessed the birth of new lives in our garden, and it never fails to move me deeply.

In these violent times—marked by mass killings in wars instigated by tyrannical politicians and incidents like the one in Kyoto—the determined efforts of these small birds right here in my own backyard give me much to reflect on.
