音楽を介した旧交　　Old Friends Through Music

入社後の1970年前後の数年間、東洋紡株式会社・高槻研究所での勤務時代、音楽愛好家仲間と演奏を楽しんでいました。

その時に演奏を録音し、退社時にプレゼントされた15曲をデジタル化し、その内の2曲を昨年12月にユーチューブにアップしたところ、音信不通となっていた元社員は音楽長間から、連絡が入りました。

アップしていない残りの13曲を聴きたい、音楽仲間だった人が、彼が所有している録音テープをデジタル化してほしい、などの希望も寄せられ、思いがけなく約50年の旧交を温めることになりました。

音楽は演奏するのも、聴くのもいいですね。一瞬で良い思い出や絆を蘇らせてくれます。

During my years working at Toyobo Co., Ltd.'s Takatsuki Research Laboratory around 1970 after joining the company, I enjoyed playing music with fellow music enthusiasts.

They had recorded our performances back then. When I left the company, I was gifted 15 tracks. A friend of mine kindly digitized them and I uploaded two of those pieces to YouTube last December. Then, a former colleague I hadn't heard from in ages reached out to me through the music channel.

Requests followed, such as wanting to hear the remaining 13 tracks I hadn't uploaded, and a former music buddy asking me to digitize the tapes he still owned. Unexpectedly, this led to rekindling old friendships spanning nearly 50 years.

Music is wonderful, whether you play it or listen to it. It instantly revives cherished memories and bonds.
