車にサヨナラ Saying Goodbye to My Car

訳があって、車、ステップワゴンを手放しました。

ただ、まだ、運転免許返納ということではありません。

20歳代に自動車学校で運転免許を取得し、30歳代に尾道で自営業に転じた後、車が必要となり買ったのが最初ですから、約50年の間に何台かの車に世話になりました。

現在は、妻が主に使用している軽自動車を必要な時に使用しています。まだ、そんなに不便を感じていませんので、この状態で良いのかもしれません。

もし、次に買うなら、自分が運転せずに目的地に運んでくれる自動運転・ロボット車がいいですね。

For certain reasons, I parted ways with my car, a STEP WAGON.

However, I haven't surrendered my driver's license yet.

I first got my license at a driving school in my twenties. After switching to self-employment in Onomichi in my thirties, I needed a car and bought my first one. So, for nearly 50 years, I've been taken care of by several cars.

Currently, I use the kei car my wife mainly uses when I need it. I don't feel that inconvenienced yet, so this arrangement might be fine for now.

If I were to buy another car next time, I'd prefer an autonomous robot car that transports me to my destination without me having to drive.
