規模が大きく、利益を上げている時代の寵児のような会社が、顧客が判りにくいような仕掛けで顧客から搾取している会社は少なくありません。

10月16日付けで新聞報道されているように「アマゾン・プライム」を仕掛けているアマゾンがその一つです。「GAFA」と呼ばれる、アメリカの巨大IT企業4社Google、Amazon、Facebook、Appleの一つです。

経営（者）の真の姿を表しているこのような会社は、仕方なく利用しても、決して尊敬されませんし、感謝されません。

私も注文時に知らないうちに「アマゾン・プライム」に登録されたことがありましたが、解約手順を調べて、解約できました。以後、注意しています。

Even large, profitable companies that seem like darlings of the era often exploit customers through schemes designed to confuse them.

As reported in the October 16th newspapers, Amazon, which operates “Amazon Prime,” is one such example. It is one of the four giant American IT companies known as “GAFA”: Google, Amazon, Facebook, and Apple.

Companies like this, revealing the true nature of their management, may be used out of necessity, but they will never be respected or appreciated.

I once found myself unknowingly signed up for Amazon Prime when placing an order, but I looked up the cancellation steps and managed to cancel it. I've been careful ever since.
