酷暑日の朝日とユリ Morning Sun and Lilies on a Scorching Day

数日前、我家の庭から見た酷暑続きの早朝と日中のタカサゴユリ（高砂ユリ、Formosa lily）です。

タカサゴユリは台湾原種で外来植物、侵入生物としてあまり歓迎されてはいないようです。

我が家の庭にあるのは一本の茎に10個の花とつぼみを付け、雑草の力強さと美しさで目立っています。

曇りながら、今日も暑く、秋の気配は見られません。

These were a scene in the early morning and the Formosa lily (Takasago lily) in the daytime from our garden during the prolonged heatwave a few days ago.

The Formosa lily is a native Taiwanese species. As an introduced and invasive plant, it doesn't seem very welcome.

The one in my garden stands out with its weed-like vigor and beauty. It bears ten flowers and buds on a single stem.

It is sure to be hot again today though cloudy, with no sign of autumn yet.
