ゴールデンウィーク、恒例の鳴滝山めぐり　　Annual visit to Mt. Narutaki during the Golden Week

この時期には毎年、尾道市街と瀬戸内の島々の美しい風景を山頂から楽しむことができる鳴滝山国立公園に行きます。

遭遇した人の数は10名以下で、コロナ禍の混雑とは無縁で満開のツツジやメジロ、鶯などの野鳥とエメラルドグリーンのきれいな池が迎えてくれました。

ただ、何故か今年は春蝉の声がほとんど聞こえなかったのが少し寂しかったです。

Every year during this time of year, we go to Mount Narutaki National Park, where we can enjoy the beautiful scenery of Onomichi city and the islands of the Seto Inland Sea from the top of the mountain.

The number of people we encountered was less than 10, and we were greeted by azaleas in full bloom, white-eyes, warblers, other wild birds and a beautiful emerald green pond without the crowds we had better avoid under the Corona pandemic.

However we were a little sad because we could hardly hear the spring cicadas for some reason this year.
