ロボット教室、これはいい！  Great! Robot classes

先日のロボットクリエーター高橋智孝さんの講演の後、この地域にもあるロボット教室のいくつか訪ねてみました。
小学生を中心に今月の課題となっているボーリングするロボットやハンドル操作でき、前進と後進できる自動車の制作に皆一生懸命でした。
助けが必要な場合は大声で講師を呼び適当なアドバイスをもらって、次に進む生徒もいれば、黙って教科書だけを見ながら制作する子もいたました。
いつの日かの高橋さんのようにヒューマノイド型のロボットの制作を夢見ながら、基礎的な勉強ができるこのような環境をうらやましく思いました。
I visited some robot classes in our area after I listened to Professor Takahashi, a robot creator. 
Most of the students are elementary schoolers and they were working hard on making movable bowling robots or automobiles. 
Some ask for help by the teachers and others silently work by themselves checking their textbook.
They are lucky to have this kind of learning places where they can get the basic knowledge dreaming of creating humanoid robots someday as Professor Takahashi did.
