小鳥の巣　Birds’ nest

昨年に続き庭の古い柿木に今年も小鳥が巣作りしていたようです。
枯れ葉が落ちて姿が現れましたが、シジュウカラかゴジュウカラの巣でしょう。
地上からの高さは4メートルほど、7,8本の若い枝木のある安定した場所、大きな柿の葉で天敵のカラスから見え難く、私たち人間にも適度に近い位置に巣作りしています。

We have found a birds’ nest on the old leaf-strewn persimmon tree in our garden this year as well as last year. 
It must have been built by small wild birds of nuthatches or great tits. 
It is located about 4 meters high above the ground on the stable place with several young stretches, which must have been covered with the large leaves that keep crows from attacking them and it is also reasonably close to us human beings.
