弁護士による犯罪  Crime by lawyers

大淵愛子弁護士が自身の違法行為で弁護士会から停職一ヶ月の処分を受けた、とのことです。法曹界が身内には非常に甘い業界であることから判断すれば、処分は評価に値すると思う人がいるかもしれませんが、甘すぎます。
法律を熟知した専門家の弁護士が法律知識の乏しい一般の人をだましたのですから、その悪質さや一般的道徳・倫理観の無さ、職業倫理観の無さが際立っている犯罪だからです。
一般的な道徳・倫理観のみならず職業倫理観もない弁護士が増えていますのでだまされないように注意しましょう。
ちなみに、私は弁護士会の司法通訳ですが、その立場からも大淵愛子弁護士の違法行為はなげかわしいです。
It is reported Aiko Oofuchi, a lawyer in Tokyo, has been put on suspension over her misconduct for a month. But it is a slap on the wrist for her crime. Some may think it is OK because she has been punished despite of the legal circle being very indulgent on their colleagues.
She is a lawyer, an expert on laws, but she deceived an ordinary person with much less knowledge of laws, which is a clear crime showing her malicious intent and being with no general and professional morals.
We have to be very careful not to be deceived by the increasing number of bad lawyers without general and professional morals.
Just for your information, I am one of the court interpreters for the lawyers and think her misconduct is a matter of a great regret.
