レモン　A lemon

レモンは私たち尾道、広島県の特産物ですが、英語のレモンには次のような使われ方もあるようです。

“気をつけなさいよ、欠陥車（a lemon）だとすぐにエンジンを交換しなければならなくなるよ。”（6/8、ラジオ英会話より）

Lemons are the special product of our city of Onomichi, Hiroshima prefecture. But the English word of lemon sometimes can be used as follows.

“Be careful not to get a lemon, otherwise you are going to have to replace the engine.”
