一万（10,000）時間  Ten thousand (10,000) hours

2か月ほど前ですが、LIXILグループ（http://www.lixil-group.co.jp/）の八木副社長の講演を聴かせていただきました。LIXILを世界企業にするためにGEから現社長と一緒に来られているようですが、どの分野でもプロになるには最低10,000時間、１日3時間として10年が必要だ・・・・、とのことでした。

About two months ago, I had a chnce to listen to the lecture by Mr.Yagi, a vice president of LIXIL Group (http://www.lixil-group.co.jp/e/default.htm). He has moved from GE together with their current company president, Mr. Fujimori, to make LIXIL Group a global enterprise. He said that it is needed 10,000 hours, 3 hours per day for 10 years at least to be professional in any kind of fields.
