大型台風への準備　Super Typhoon preparedness:

朝一番に、①家の無線アンテナのローテーターの電源を入れ、②事務所の一階、シャッターにマグネットで貼り付けているチラシや案内を取り外しました。前者はローテータ－のロック状態を解除し、風の負荷で内部の回転歯車が破損するのを防ぐためです。
What I did first thing in the morning were, 
1. to switch on the radio antenna rotator to unlock built-in gear teeth and to make it move by the wind load before the breakdown of the gear teeth,
2. to unfix the paper and the plastic advertisements from the metal shutter of the office building.
