練習は嘘をつかない　Practice makes perfect.

先日、8日（日）に神辺文化会館で行われたハーモニカフェスティバルに出かけました。多くの演奏者の中で知人2人がソロ演奏した曲が「黒田節」と「ハンガリー舞曲第5番」で、いずれも演奏後に控えめなどよめきが起きた。“練習は嘘をつかない”はスポーツ界ではよく使われるようですが、他の分野でも同じです。
The other day on September 8th (Sunday) I went to the harmonica concert held in Kannabe cultural hall, where two friends of mine performed solos of Kurodabusi (Song of Kuroda) and Hungarian Dances No.5 respectively. After their performances, I could hear the modest clamor among the audience. It is often said “Practice doesn't lie.” in sporting world, but it is also the case with many others.
