去り行く夏、スイカ　Passing summer and water melons

店頭に並ぶスイカのサイズが小さくなり数も減ってきました。スイカ好きの私はスーパーでおいしそうなスイカを見つけられなかったので、先日はわざわざ御調のクロスロードまで買いに車を走らせました。残念ですが、これが今シーズン最後のスイカとなるでしょう。
Their sizes are getting smaller and the numbers decreasing at the store shelves. The other day I drove my car all the way to the nearby roadside station to get a water melon because I could not find a good one at the supermarket. I like it very much but I am afraid that will be the last one in this season.
