ピンチヒッター　Pinch hitter

本日、全国実用英語検定試験、二次面接試験のピンチヒッター試験官に起用されました。昨年まで25年間勤めていましたので、違和感はありません。多くの方々の合格を祈っています。
Today I pinch-hit as one of the nation-wide oral English proficiency test examiners for the passers of the primary written test. I have no sense of discomfort at it because I had served as the examiner for 25 years until last year. I wish many examinees will be successful.
