シジュウカラ（四十雀）　Japanese Tit (Parus minor)

庭の柿の木の葉もほとんど落ちて、発見したのがシジュウカラの巣（直径10cm、深さ5cm）です。カラスからの攻撃を避けた？のか家に最も近く低い枝先に作っていました。飛び立った若いシジュウカラも元気に初めての冬を越してほしいものです。
In our garden, we have found the Japanese Tit’s nest (10 cm in diameter, 5 cm in de

pth) in the persimmon tree whose leaves have fallen. It was made on the low tree branch closest to our house to avoid the possible attaches by crows. We hope the young birds make it through their first winter.
